Loved this challenge. It almost feels as if summer is on the way here - the grass needs cutting, and the window has been open all afternoon. So I went contrary and used up some Eskimo Kisses scraps to make a Christmas card.
5 3/4" base. I cut strips from two papers, and a base paper the same size as the card. I layered the strips a bit like finishing off a Log Cabin, and stitched them down. Stamped the image in the centre, and then free-stitched all over it in white. Added a pearl for the eye. Sentiment was computer generated and cut with a Spellbinders tag. Added ribbon and a button and stuck it to the card.
