I needed to make another masculine get well card, this time for Dennis. I guess he was close to death from what I am told. So I hope this card will cheer him up.
I saw the WT265 challenge for angles. I love triangles in design so I thought I would use triangles for corners I also thought of a card I made for a midnightmadness challenge last week or so that had a grid pattern that resembled brick. I thought that would be a cool idea for a masculine card.
So, I grabbed a 3x4" piece of white, and marked every 1/2 inch the long way, then I marked every 1/2 inch the shortway, went over it with black marker, COOL! I knew I was using black white and red as my color pallete, so I got my red and black and made it 1/4 inch bigger all around.
After I stamped my image, in real red, I decided to cutaway at the bricks and make an angle. I also decided to leave the red exposed. I used a get well stamp yesterday for Lesters card, and knew it would fit, so I grabbed it, and stamped it in black and put it on an angle. Then mounted the image on the black.
The corners are 2 inch squares cut on an angle, then black is 2-1/4 inch squares done the same way. I think I created a really coo, and fun masculine get well card. What do you think?

Your card is SO creatively done!! Not only the "brick layer" piecings, which I know is time consuming, but putting it on an angle within your diagonals. A really striking card!
