It is still Tuesday in my time zone, so even though we didn't get home until 8 pm, I wanted to stamp and go for a two-fer: Color Challenge and my first Teapot Tuesday challenge!
MotherMark's stories and teapots are the stuff of legends! After I checked out the challenge, my stamp choice was obvious! Rappin' chickens say COOP PARTY to me! Yo chickies! You chickie! Can you say PAR-TAY?!
I must address the hen on the right, holding the balloon. Her name is Roxie. She is trouble! Her wings look so weird because she knocks the top off of the feeder when the food gets wet and it sticks to her wings! Then she flaps around in the mud, and her wings get so muddy! #This has nothing to do with me trying to make her wings and tail black and then realizing it looked really goofy#.
If you actually read this, thanks for your indulgence, LOL! ;)

Welcome to your first tea party . No need to apologise for Roxie - my guesses are either that Bertie was flinging some of the barnyard muck and poor Rox didn't duck (do hens duck??) in time. Or else, shhh, she found the tea that isn't really tea, and had a bit too much to drink and fell over on her way back to the nest.

Welcome to the tea party, so glad you decided to join us. I am a newbie too, but everyone is so kind and generous with their comments and it looked like they all were having so much fun, I just had to join in too! This is only my 4th! Love your PB Speckled Hens! They are just too CUTE! Great that you were able to combine the TPT with the CC and have a two for one! The colors and your image are PERFECT together!

What a great image to bring to your first tea party! Welcome! You will find that our tea parties are addictive so we look forward to seeing more of your great work... super cute card!!! FYI - this week's party was rather calm... but be on your guard in the future for certain attendees... Bertie is always flingin' something!!!!!
