this hat from the William Chambers MillineryÂ’s site was my inspiration for this card for IC226.
the image was stamped twice, then embossed with black and white embossing powders. the white was cut in half and glued to the black. the image edges were cut with deckle scissors, distressed and popped on foam tape. the first layer was embossed with impressabilities and the mats were all attached. the final base is 4 1/4” white cardstock.

You've captured your inspiration hat perfectly with this card, Linda!!! Fantastic embossing work. I love how you spliced together the black-on-white and white-on-black halves and mirror-imaged the background. What a fabulous card!!
