This is my first crack at an easel card which I made a couple of weeks ago. It's also got a pop=up sentiment as I wanted it to stand up when the card was open.
I like to try new folds for my hubby's cards because he really likes them (and he loved this card, btw!) I used our wedding colours for this and had such a lot of fun going mad with bling, paper flowers, punched shapes - you name it, it's in there! I wanted to make it look as though Jack and Ginger were going under an arch of flowers. Very un-CAS and it took me ages but I really enjoyed it! (and at the risk of sounding sickly, he's completely worth it!)
Thank you so much for taking a closer look!

OMG - this is absolutely fantastic! That image is so sweet - it just speaks volumes about spending your life with the one you love. Love your arch with all those paper flowers and the popped up sentiment. You've taken the easel card to the next step. Absolutely gorgeous!

Sally - you are newlywed? I didn't realize that! What a great anniversary card with so much meaning! I love this couple and you colored them wonderfully. When I was younger, I defined romantic so differently than I do now = now growing old together now seems romantic to me! Super job on this one and thanks for sharing!

Happy First Anniversary! Like someone else said, I am feeling OLD! This last Valentine's Day we celebrated our 29th! It is such a beautiful card though, so I think you should keep it and maybe use removable adhesive and give it to him again and again, like on the 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, and 50th Anniversary! How FUN would that be?

Happy 1st Anniversary to you and "my man Brian". I mean, your husband!!! My gosh Sally, this proves to me there's nothing you can't tackle and tackle WELL!! This is one of the most beautiful easel cards I've ever seen and I LOVE purple and yellow color combos! That image is to die for and this card was well worth all the extra effort you put into it Sally. It is totally AMAZING!!! TFS and Happy Easter and Anniversary!!
