I searched through my stash for some yellow felt or fabric, but couldn't find any ... so I made my own. I started with a piece of cream-colored felt and sprayed it with Mango Lemonade Memories Mist and Bronze Glimmer mist. After it dried, the color still rubbed off on my fingers, so I sprayed on a coat matte fixative to help set the color.
I punched water lilies from copper paper, added copper brads, and attached them to the felt with glue dots. I finished with a sentiment stamped directly on the hat band with Staz-on ink. Boy, was that metallic paper difficult to photograph.

I love your flowers against the felt...reminds of the hat which inspired you! I love the website, this looks like some fun and elegant place to buy a hat. TFS Stephanie and for letting me know I am not alone...hat's aren't friends with my head either, but I do love to see them on other heads.
