This is the “almost” beginning of my album about our 3 dogs (I’ll have a cover page before these two pages.) We lost both of our two dear English Springer Spaniels last fall/winter within 4 months of each other due to old age. They were both about 12 ½ years old. In between we got our new puppy, Teddy, who is now 7 months old. Eventually, my album will have pages about all three dogs.
It took me a little while before I was ready to go through my pictures of our springers, but Diana’s “Pets in Our Lives” challenge motivated me, so hopefully, now I’m on a roll and can enjoy my fond memories. It also covers Jenn's IFC71 challenge to use 5 or more photos on a page.
These two pages are about our first days planning for and bringing home our cute little black and white springer puppy, Bailey. He was a fine, smart, handsome, fun dog and will always hold a shining place in our hearts and minds.
If you want to read the journaling, see the two individual pages:
Paper: The Pet Stack and blue and green textured cardstock (DCWV); Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Cool Caribbean (SU)
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Old Olive (SU)
Accessories: Paws and Claws embellies (American Traditional Designs kit); Fiskars scallop punch, SU corner, scallop and circle punches; SU markers; brown alphas (Hobby Lobby); font: CK Sassy.

AWWW! So cute Wendy! In that top left pic, Bailey looks like he's not too sure about these new surroundings! Also in the one where he looks like he might just crawl under the bed! Love the LO and so sorry for your loss! I know how hard it is to loose our best friends...even our 4 legged ones! We also have a dog named Teddy (actually Teddy Bear!) but he is a Golden Retriever.

What a sentimental journey you're on and I know it'll be such a joy to relive such sweet memories. This is a gorgeous dps! I had to do a double take to realize it was paper and not digi :-) GORGEOUS! Love everything about it!

Great layout, Wendy. As a multi-photo scrapper, I enjoy how this layout showcases so many photos without overwhelming them. I love the patterned paper, too, and the little circle drawing attention to Bailey's little face.
