I am so excited the the Queen for the Day this week is Pat Smethers. She always leaves the most encouraging words for the work of others and reaches out to make everyone feel welcome on SCS. I owe my stamping addiction to Pat, who I fondly call "The Enabler". She has encouraged my addiction to SCS, Rubber Romance, the Cuttle Bug, every kind of embellishment out there, and much more. She is the one who introduced me to Teapot Tuesdays, which forever changed my Tuesdays!
I could case a million of them - they are all in my favorites album!
I used this beautiful Rubber Romance bride (Pat loves Rubber Romance) and some pretty flowers that Pat sent me that are the same flowers in her card I cased. I had to make a shower card for my niece today - she is decorating her house in animal print and her wedding colors are watermelon (this the closest I have to that color). It looks more like a wedding card - but I am out of time. I changed the ribbon, paper, card size, image, and added a sentiment.
I had to do faux sewing since I don't own a sewing machine that actually works (I have one of those Benzi special machines, a 1920's White machine that belonged to my great grandmother, and a cheap machine from Mikes - none of them works).
Enjoy your day (week) Pat - you definitely deserve this honor. I am so in awe of your work! LYMIS!

Nancy, what a fun card! How fun to see a bridal image on top of your animal print paper. Your faux stitching is the best especially since it's so time consuming! Very card and wonderfully cased to boot!
