I think this ended up looking rather like old lace. I inked up just the flower on the stamp using a sponge to make the background. I used the sponge to fill in any blank spots after stamping all the flowers.

So subtle and what a creative use of this stamp. Love your eyelets and the main image on the horizontal. I WANT this set!
