Wendy challenged us to make a card inspired by a musical. We also had to make our card anything but an A2 size. Mine is 4-1/4" square. When I think of the musical, "Oklahoma", I think of the period in which it was set. It's a time when barn raisings, out houses and quilting bees were the norm. I actually stitched on this card which is something I NEVER do (you can see why!). I didn't add a sentiment because I'll leave it for later when I figure out what this card is!! Thanks for taking a peek!!!

I don't see anything wrong with your stitching. Your quilt reminds me of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, when they kidnapped all the girls and Millie got out all those old quilts. I was thinking of the barn raising in that earlier, that it would work for a new house card.
Perfect choice of *fabrics* too, with the ticking and gingham and flowery calico.
