Here's my card for today's Sketch Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers. I decide to pull out Awash With Flowers again. The colors are totally inspired by the Sweet Pea dsp pack. (Love it!)
I started by using my Circle Scissor Plus to cut out a 2-3/4" Whisper White circle, a 2-7/8" Pretty In Pink circle and a 3" So Saffron circle. I stamped the flower outlines with Basic Black and did the Two-Step process with Pretty In Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, So Saffron and Ruby Red inks. I love the Cracked Glass technique Cracked Glass Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers, so that's what I did with the Whisper White layer. I mean, the images were pretty enough, but I thought it lacked a little something. The Cracked Glass is just what it needed in my opinion.
I stamped the Sanded Background tone-on-tone on the Pumpkin Pie card base and then glued everything down. I liked Rox's idea of using butterflies, so I added some of own to my card.

Nice job. You're sure selling me on that set. LOL Like the cracked glass technique on that circle layer. I'm impressed that you've been doing more techniques lately cause you said recently that you weren't a "technique" stamper.

Your cracked glass effect looks awesome!! I'll have to try that sometime. I really like the distressed feel it gave your card. Pretty colors, super use of the sketch. Nicely done
