These are not colors I work with much so it was quite a challenge to put this together. I sometimes color and then try to find paper to match, which proves a challenge and a long process (but if there's a hard way to do things, may as well choose that path, right?!! Ugggh). I also wanted to try one of these nifty paper flowers I've been seeing pop up here and there. The flourish was an add on when my sewing machine "blipped" and wrecked a stitch in the most conspicuous spot, but in a happy "accident" the flourish ended up taking on the effect of a stem so all's well...

Beautiful card. Your coloring is beautiful (as it always is) and the bright colors just brought a smile to my face; they make me think of spring. Love your handmade flower. And who would think to add a snowflake to the center, but it's just perfect!
