This card is for several challenges:

Kaboodle Doodles "Happy Birthday"
Little Paper Shop Make Something Old New Again
Penny's Challenges 25 Birthday Challenge
My Time To Craft 83 Lovely Lace

The moose is a Clear Dollar Stamp image that I stamped and embossed with clear powder onto a separate piece of paper. Then I colored in in with chalks and cut it out. The embossing really helps to contain your colors when you go to color in the image. The birthday hat is from the same stamp set which I stamped on a coordinating piece of patterned paper and cut out. These papers are from a scrapbooking set that I've had for a while and have only used a couple of pieces before to scrapbook my wedding photos.

The two squares that the moose is layered over were made using Nestabilities and the border on the green textile paper was made with the MS doily lace punch.

The white piece of paper was made using the Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder. Then I brushed a vintage sepia ink pad over it to make the texture pop out. I used that same ink pad on all the edges of my layers and for stamping the images.

The white partial circle was made by attaching small pieces of tissue paper to a green piece of paper by covering a pen end with them and brushing the end over a glue stick. Then I pressed the end onto the paper. At first the tissue paper was really overwhelming the image, so I took some small scissors to it and trimmed it down to a shorter size. I like the tissue paper because it reminds me of opening a box or gift bag and looking into it just to see piles of tissue paper at first. The hardest part of using the tissue paper was figuring out where the squares and the lacy border were going to end up in relation to it.
