OMG, Mutnik was selected for 2 challenges this week, QFTD01 and FS163. I was still struggling with the first one of Queen for the Day when, low and behold, Mutnik was chosen featured stamper this week too.
I would do 2 separate cards Mutnik, but whatever creative energies I used to make this case of your card are GONE, GONE, GONE!! It's HARD WORK BEING IN YOUR WORLD!!
I can't draw at all, so I cheated SO MUCH to pull this card together. I even cheated on the sky and grass and used pp instead of sponging myself. I mean how bad is that???? My mojo has just been failing me this past week.
Anyway, Mutnik - when I started this, I DID NOT FEEL LIKE A "Mut"; however, by the time I finished it I DID FEEL LIKE A "MUT"!! But, don't think I'll ever be able to do that again. Your art is just that - YOUR ART - and I had no business trying to get into that realm. You are such a talented ARTIST Cathy and I am SO HAPPY you get your special week x 2!!!
Okay, I won't go into particulars, but I will say that the only images I could find that would fit a MUTNIK card were given to me in a RAK or CRAK from Anne Ryan. How appropriate is that since she selected Mutnik as the 1st person for the QFTD challenge. I knew this funny image would come in handy. I stamped the image twice and popped them up on dimensionals.
The only hand work I did was draw the Mutnik signature lines and dots that frame the card and some grass up above my cheat patterned paper grass. I hand wrote the sentiment. I even used premade flowers and stems and a sun I had in my scrapbook stash. I did, however, color the dog and chicken all by myself!!
Thanks Anne and Beth for choosing Mutnik as QFTD and FS as she certainly DESERVES IT!!!
Thanks for visiting and have a great Sunday!

LOL.....Fruitcake this is just fabulous! You truly did a superb job here. I LOVE that dog especially with a chicken on his nose. I would never have come up with this one. Scheesh! Soo cute. Look at that cutting out job you did. Whoa, mighty fine. Now let's talk about that sun. It has black and white checkers on it, my fav! Your "hand" doodles and "hand wrote" sentiment, which btw, reminds me of the worms in Men in Black Two where they say " Can't move, too scared". I just love what you have done here. Thanks so much for doing it! WOW! TFS :0)
