This is for FS163 and today we are honoring Cathy Bomgardner *Mutnik* as our featured artist. Woo Hoo! Congratulations, Cathy, fellow Rubbernecker Red Hot Momma!!!!!!!!!
I was inspired by Cathy's use of the Rubbernecker Clothes Line from the Laundry Day Collection. WT253 - ...clothes line birdies... by Mutnik at Splitcoaststampers. But I am always inspired by Cathy's many types of scene work. I changed up her use of birds on the clothes line and a neighborhood in the background to a back yard scene with laundry on the line. Ugh! Laundry on the line. Does anyone remember hanging clothes outside on the line? I sure do!!!!!!! I think my scene is reflective of Cathy's many kinds of fun scene and the sentiment reminds me of her fun and wacky sense of humor. I changed up the color combination for my project but left the main layout of my card a simple two layer project like CAthy's.
I stamped the clothes lines and covered it with a mask. I sketched out my tree and then sponged in the ground and tree top area and filled in with the mini fern image from my Kittie Kits Outdoor Master. I sponged in the sky area and then removed the mask and painted the clothes line poles. I stamped, painted and cut out several pieces of laundry to hang from the line and hand sketched aand painted a pile of folded laundry to place on the sentiment .
Have a fun day Cathy, Oh Queen, and enjoy all of the work people are going to do to honor you!!!!!!!

Oh Kittie, you are the one who inspired me to do scenes. All yours are just over the top wonderful. I feel honored to have you case me today. This scene here is perfect. I could stare at this for ever! I just love your style.....now about remembering about hanging clothes on the line. When much younger, my dad would hang his long johns on the line ...in the winter. They'd freeze, the dog would pull them off and drag them all over the yard. Such fun to watch dad chasing after the dog! hehe Thanks for the memories. AND thanks so very much for taking the time to play today. TFS :0)

Oh that sentiment is SUCH a crack up! I know it wouldn't be so great for the environment, but disposable clothes (at least for children) sounds like a FAB idea! I love the Queen of Scenes at work together! Awesome card, Kittie!
