Actually, Peggy has two cards in this photo so I sort of morphed the two layouts.
My card is green and brown with ivory because I initially thought I could combine this card with this week's CAS58 challenge which is to use these colors. However, about 15 minutes into making it, I decided that the little layered crushed flowers were giving me a fit(simple part no longer applied). This is my first experience with the crushed layered flowers. Not sure how to feel about mine. I think they would look better in another color, but I tried to comply with the CAS color challenge. I used basicgrey origins dp for the flowers.

Not sure how you feel about your crushed flowers? Seriously? They are gorgeous, as is your card. Betty, what an elegant, delightful creation to honor Peggy today. You always make gorgeous cards and how special will Peggy feel that you made this beauty in her honor! Wow!

I am sorry the crushed flowers gave you fits, because I think they turned out great! Love the buttons and gold pearl in the centers. The entire card is gorgeous!
