Hi! This card was made for the Stampin' B's Challenge and fits today's Ways to Use It challenge: A Little Encouragement.
Well, we are having a really bad day. Dog, our beloved pet passed last night. It's been horrible for us. Markie cried in his room for over an hour last night. I made this crying over our loss. And, I kept thinking about this sentiment being perfect for US! So I'm going to put this card on our buffet for a few days to remind me of the GOOD times we've had with our passed family member.
I wanted to use this paper and ribbon from one of the MarkÂ’s Finest Papers Premium Paper Craft Packs. I LOVE this dp with the ribbon. (It was also in the Paper Craft Pack.)
The rose was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in gold. It was sponged with Landscape, Jardin Moss and Espresso for depth. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the designer paper in Espresso. I added in the rose head charm and the metallic half pearls to continue the gold theme.
Finished Card Size: 5" Square
Total time to complete: 29 minutes

Hugs and warm thoughts to you, Mark and Markie for brighter, better days. Good idea to keep the card on the buffet as that is a wonderful sentiment. I hope that in time the hurt lessens.
Beautiful card.

Beautiful paper and ribbon Faith. And the rose is quite unexpected in shades of green and looks lovely.
So sorry to hear about your family's loss~ I hope that Dog didn't suffer, and that you will all have fond memories of your time together.

Beautiful card, Faith. When we lost out beloved dog we talked about the fun times and laughed and cried almost at the same time. I'm so sorry for your loss.
