This is for this week's TLC: DP By Me!
I was so happy about this challenge because it gave me a reason to try my brandnew Tim Holtz distress inks... I pressed several shades of red and brown distress inkpads onto a non-stick craft sheet, then misted the craft sheet with water, then put a sheet of cardstock on the wet craft sheet. After drying it with my heat gun, I added some Glimmer Mist, then overstamped the whole paper with brown Fluid Chalks.
I'm pretty content with the result - guess I'll try this more often!

WOW Christiane!!! You never do thing in a simple boring fashion, that's for sure. You are always coming up with new and creative techniques - at least I sure think so. Your home made dp is gorgeous!! I love the distress inks. And March 17th is St. Patrick's Day. I remember my mom telling me that if you wanted to show allegiance with Germany you would wear orange. Your card looks kind of orange to me, but you might not have been thinking about that.
You made a beautiful card, and I'm glad you were able to stamp. :>)
