This is for the Wish-RAK March challenge which was an inspiration challenge. I chose a combination of the two inspirational cakes...shades of lavender for the overall card and the lilac flowers from the other cake. The grosgrain ribbon and image is my Wish-RAK element. I received the image before I actually bought the set which I also used in the BG - not sure if it even shows up in my pic.
The BG is a result of a few technical mishaps. I started out by blending Tim Holtz's Distress Inks: Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, and Worn Lipstick. Didn't quite come out the way I planned so I went over it all with white crackle paint. The paint didn't crackle the way I thought it would so I stamped over the entire BG with Weathered BG stamp using Dusty Concord ink. I then stamped more flower and leave images using the stamp-off technique but they came out very light. Anyhoo, this is what I finally ended up with.

Wow, that is amazing, that whole process really worked for this card, it's beautiful. Do you think you could repeat it? lol. I hate it when I go through a series of mishaps and it's perfect and I know I'll never be able to do that again. lol.
