Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
I was determined to use this new set: Ferns and Chickadee. You see, the set was designed around the memory of a very wonderful man, my grandfather. Big Grand-daddy's love and wisdom got me through my childhood's challenges and the loss of my daughter. I miss him, so much, and today is the anniversary of both their passings. It's a difficult day, but, it is also a comfort to use this set and to think of him.
The ferns were inked in Viridian Leaf and then in Espresso. The were stamped and off stamped onto Classic Flax panel. The chickadee was stamped in Pitch Black and sponged in with Charcoal and Sun Flower. The top flourish is a Spellbinders' Frame cut down.
Finished size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 38 minutes
