We are making ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) for our next hostess club party in April. The daffodil image in the "Abundant Hope" stamp set from the Occasions Mini is the perfect size for a 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" size ATC. I will make up at least a couple of finished cards with the ATC to give the girls different ideas for their finished cards and then let them use their own creative imagination to finish their cards.
I used the "Inspired By Nature" grass stamp for the background and the sentiment from "Essence of Love". I think this will make a nice sympathy card, which I like to have on hand.
The daffodil flowers and bud are stamped a 2nd time, cut out and popped up with dimensionals. The main image was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with the watercolor marker technique.
Stamps: Abundant Hope, Inspired By Nature, Essence of Love
Paper: Certainly Celery, W White, watercolor paper
Ink: Black Stazon, C Celery, SU yellow, orange and green markers
Accessories: modern label, word window and scallop trim border punches, CCelery satin ribbon, soft subtle brads, cropadile, sponge, dimensionals, paperships
Absolutely wonderful, Nancy! The grasses are the perfect BG for the pretty daffodils. I love the layered sentiment, with the word window and modern label punches and of course the punched border! Your coloring is just beautiful!

Very cool - what is the watercolor marker technique? I like how you did the sentiment.

Love this combo of the daffodils and the grass. Pretty design and coloring. Great dimension on the daffodils, and LOVE the border punch! This will make a nice sympathy card.

You packed a lot of detail into a small space--and still made it turn out uncluttered and fresh. Definitely love the Spring colors. I like the grass BG that you used for the layer behind the daffodils. A sweet card.
