This is for the Twisted Sister Challenge (issued by Pat Smethers) for the week. The challenge was to make a card that was a reflection. Reflection was defined literally or figuratively. I decided to do a card with a window on it since windows can be used to reflect lots of things - they can be used to reflect images and sunlight but also can be used as symbols of the reflection into our lives. I am reflecting on my friendships - at SCS and everywhere. They all mean so much to me and bring me much warmth and peace - this card reminds me of that.
I took this wonderful Rubber Romance stamp and stamped it several times. I used an Exacto knife to cut out the inside of the window and then placed a small piece of acetate underneath to be the "window glass." Then I used some yummy ribbon Pat sent me and cut out and colored the little cat. I layered it all back together, and then colored the image. I used my Kittie Kit Cause a Scene tiny flowers to make the flowers. I think it looks like a card Pat would make (not as good as she would do but it is Pat-like anyway).
Thanks for letting me play with you all - the Twisted Sisters are all so special.

Oh, this is beyond fantastic. It is sooo life-like. I adore the "curtains" in the window. You certainly did a tremendous amount of work to create this beautiful card.

Love this window card, and the fact that there is a kitty in the window, makes it an even more precious 'warm' window! Gorgeous lace curtains! Love the flowers. Cool images and details that work together to make a terrific card!!!! TFS. : )
