I chose this card by Vera, this week's Featured Stamper, as my inspiration. I really liked the kraft background with a striped paper so I repeated that, changing the color combo and type of punched border. I eliminated the bow and button to give my card a more sophisticated rather than whimsical look of the original. I also moved the sentiment placement.

Funny, I had Vera's card in my favorites and now I remember why. Great job creating a more masculine version of Vera's original. You can't go wrong with kraft and striped in my book.

Thanks so much for CASEing another one of my cards in today's challenge, Susan! I love your color choices and the simple knotted ribbon. Great CAS card!
