I based my card on this one here that's been in my faves a long time: Purple Pansies by Wendy G at Splitcoaststampers by Wendy G. Hers is a Post-It Note holder, but I was intrigued by the stamp sets she used together and wanted to turn it into a card.
I think it looks old-fashioned, like something from my grandmother's day. Don't know if it shows, but with Antique LInen Distress Ink, I used the French Script background over the pansy image after it was colored. It adds a subtle touch.

Beautiful card. I normally tend to shy away from purples but this is just stunning. Love the Floral BG and the French Script. Into my faves, I love it! Have to go dig out my Flowers of Thanks set now...
