I fell in love with the renaissance angel stamp set and just knew that I wanted to try doing a stained glass card. When I saw melmel's shadow box card, I knew it would work perfectly for what I had in mind for the stained glass window. Here are Melmel's instructions for the shadow box part of the card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
For the stained glass effect:
Cut a piece of window sheet larger than the window frame it will be adhered behind. Clean the window sheet with rubbing alcohol and/or embossing buddy. Stamp the angel on the window sheet with Versamark. Sprinkle ultrafine black embossing powder over the image and tap off excess. Emboss the image with the heat gun making sure not to hold the heat gun too close to the window sheet or it will curl and/or melt. Image can then be colored with permanent sharpie markers. Attach the window sheet to the back of the window frame.

Holy Cow, Brenda!!! This is beyond gorgeous! I love stained glass, acetate, 3D projects, AND my favorite color is purple, so you can only imagine how much I love this. I've used this shadowbox pattern of melmel's myself, so I know how much fun they are to make. You did a fantastic job with this, and you've got me itching to do something with acetate myself now. Give yourself a huge pat on the back for a job well done, and thank you so much for sharing!!! Linda
