I promised Peggy a BLUE card today, and here it is!!
Our youngest grandson, John, who was adopted into the family last December, is a Chess player. He's not the only one. As soon as they could, my Dad taught the kids to play......my youngest DS used to say, "Grampy! Let's play CHEST!" He's 45 now, and doesn't say that any more!
I thought a blue chess card would be great for a guy, and those of you who know chess will understand the castle (exchanging places of the Rook and the Queen to protect it!). The sentiment refers to chess as a thinking game.
So this is for a guy and my girl Peggy! Enjoy!!

Great card, Anne! I love the blue and all of the "chest" references. Fun border punch, too!

Great masculine card Anne! We have a few chess players in our house too In answer to your question, yes, I can skate but I am not a superstar This vintage image reminds me of my grandparents skating together, they were excellent

That's a great concept, I like it.
When we were down with my brother a couple of weeks ago, two of his kids were playing - he was trying to get them to be strategic about it...
When we were kids, as a special treat we were sometimes allowed play with an Indian ivory chess set - the rooks were elephants. You would have liked it because it was RED and white, not black .
