My goodness... this turned out to be a very productive card. It qualifies for 3 challenges this week! I started out with Betty Wright's crushing basics challenge (CC260 - to use crushed curry, always artichoke, basic grey) and decided to use Mercy Kerin's Tuesday sketch (MTSC63) and, turns out, it also qualifies for Cindy Haffner's Flourishes challenge (FTTC56) to use scallops on the card. Using crushed curry was a bit of a challenge and I thought 'sunflowers' right away. I remembered I had a sunflower stamp from a long time ago and colored it with Copics. I didn't have any patterned paper with crushed curry in it so I made my own using the leaves from 'God's Beauty'. I also used my Nesties labels 4 to make an edge border next to the patterned piece and stamped 'wonderful' from SU's Warm Words on it. I wasn't sure I'd like this card, but I do! Hope you like it too! Thanks for looking in.
