Wow, I learned a lot on this card. I am not feeling good so I don't know if that is the problem but this card made me feel like crying at times. I used a rub on for the first time and things around it got stuck on the card. When I tried to get them off, it ruined the paper so I had to recut paper and paper piece background parts to try and cover all the mistakes. I almost threw it in the trash but I worked too hard so I decided to try and safe it. I will send this to someone who won't pay attention to the flaws.

Oh, Jen, don't cry!! We all (well, I think we ALL) have cards that are "duds" or just don't go like we envisioned.
A tip: Just remember it is PAPER! Not $200/yd fabric that we have wrongly cut! It's paper! I know your time is valuable, but the next card you make might be the BEST one EVER! (((((Hugs)))))

I agree with Sallie, We have all had our share of "not feeling the love" for the card we have created... Just glad that you kept on with it! I think you are being WAY to hard on your self, I see no flaws, Just a really lovely card! So raise that hand high, reach over your shoulder and give yourself a big pat on the back... Well Done Jen!

Way to go for sticking in there! I've had my times too and I have found that I am "rub-on" impaired. I try not to use them if possible.

Wherever the flaws are, I do not see them. (I am personally very familiar with cover ups LOL!)
I really like the end result - the narrow yellow bands are such a nice highlight. I also like the open frame for your image - at least, I think that is what I see!
BTW, thanks for the comment on my card - it makes my day to think you would like to use my idea.
