I just felt like a scene today, so that's where the faux what? took me. I used what I have been using long before I even heard of nesties, the coluzzle. I used a circle one here. This card also works for the CAS challenge this week where it is hip to be square because I made a square card which is totally out of the norm for me........details......
Circle first: Made a mountain mask, sponged and shaded the mountains putting some liquid applique on the peaks for snow. Also put a punched circle mask for the sun, which I did a reverse mask later sponging the sun. Also sponged the clouds with Rosie Roadshow cloud stencil.
The Pals: On my way home, at this one house I keep seeing this ceramic cowboy sitting on the people's fenced in porch. I thought he would make a great card image. So one day while at the stop sign, I rolled down the window and quickly took a very bad picture with my cell phone and e-mailed it to myself. (have been doing this a lot lately, hehe)
Got home printed it out so I would have a general idea. Drew my back-sided cowboy, and his pals, the tiny back-side of a mouse and his trusty dog. Colored the with copics and cut them out.
This weekend I received some images from Cindy, YLM, one being this bench. How perfect for this scene in my head which is now on this card.
To finish this off, I stamped my medium Mutnik square on the edges in black, added some misc dp that I sponged the edges and then put my circle scene on, then the pals on the bench, popping up parts.
Well, hope you have a relaxing evening.....TFL :0)

That cowboy is dreaming of me.....I just know he is. I know there is a cowboy is my life soon. This scene is just over the top awesome. I love how you can draw anything you need. The mouse and dog getting along together makes this scene just so peaceful and has a calming effect on me (is is e or a....someone please tell me I get so confused with effect and affect). Love your sky and the mountains with trees. very cool. love it!!!!!! tfs, sis.
