For today's Technique Lover's Challenge (TLC262), "Faux What?", the challenge was to design your own faux "nesties" shaped image panel (without using nested cutting dies, etc.). We could use any other means of punches or cutting. I haven't been able to squeeze in a TLC challenge for quite a while, but I was really interested in giving this one a try since I don't have any kind of nestabilities or die cutting tools at all. I love the look, though, so I thought it would be a good use of time to try this out and also see what others come up with!!
I created this nested image panel using my new Fiskars Victorian photo corner punch (found on clearance at Michael's--squeal!!). This punch also cuts in a set of interior slots, so all I had to do was slide in my stamped image (on a white rectangle), and it instantly took on the shape of something more exotic.
Thanks for looking!!
Emily

Methinks I shall be taking my backside to Michael's on the morrow... apparently there are a lot of crafty goodness on cleaarance... I like the border punch you used a lot - it looks very elegant with the peacock image. I like the double buttons too.
