Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge and today's Clean and Simple Challenge: Hip to be Square.
Since this was a Clean and Simple challenge, I decided to keep it really simple. The FRAME started out as a square. I used a Martha Stewart punch the center out of each side. Then, I turned the square onto the points and punched them. This created an interesting Spellbinders-LIKE frame...I think! LOL
The hummingbird was stamped in Adirondack Pitch Black and cut out. Next, I sponged Palette Hybrid Ink's Claret for the neck and belly, Water Lily Green for the inside wings and was VERY heavy handed with Cote d'Azure for the tail/wing and head edges.
Finished card size: 4 1/2" square
Total time to complete: About 15 minutes... I had to help Mark...NOT MARKIE, find his glasses! LOL
