Today I have made this card for the birthdayparty of Truly scrumptious. The challengeblog is celebratings its first birthday with a really lovely sketch and the option to make a birthdaycard. On my card I used one of my new digital stamps from Tiddlyinks. Christy Croll designs stamps (for example the huggabuggs) for Stamping Bella and she now has her own store with digital stamps. I love the huggabuggs and so I immediately loved this cute girl with her large flower. I used my derwent pencils to colour the image and I have coloured the shadows next to the image with blue chalk. They eyes of the girl were coloured with a black glaze pen. I used a white card as base and I have cut two rectangles from red cardstock. I rounded the corners on side of the rectangle with the corner chomper. I have resized the large flower from the girl and printed it twelve times and cut it out. These are placed on the red rectangles. I made two holes in the rectangles and added white eyelets. I used a black gingham ribbon to attach them to each other. I have printed the sentiment on white cardstock and used the Stampin word window punch to punch it out. With a black fineliner I did some faux stitching next to the sentiment. I used a white gelpen for some faux stitching on the red rectangles.
