I may have dreamt it but a little while ago I (think!) I saw a challenge which involved creating a card based on what spring meant to each of us.
As you can probably tell, I am total challenge virgin but after lurking on the challenge posts for ages I have finally plucked up the courage to submit a card!
Trouble is, I cant find the challenge number to enable me to reference my feeble effort!
Anyway, here it is, warts and all! I have had this stamp for longer than I can remember but never found an effective way of colouring it. However I have very recently started using/collecting (they are addictive!) promarkers and this card is my first effort using them with this stamp. (So pleeeeease be gentle!)
Daffodils, or Jonquil to give them their correct latin name epitomise spring to me. My birthday is in late March and as a child the sight of these sunshine flowers peeking through the brown earth was a signal to me that spring (and my birthday!) was just around the corner!
Saying that, my favourite season has always been Winter and I am one of those odd people who look forward to the longer nights of darkness.
Thanks so much for looking and a very Happy Spring to you all, whatever your favourite season! x

Oh my, Alison! This looks like something that should be in a frame! Stunning colouring, and I love the little sparkle you've added. Daffodils are definitely one of those iconic spring images! (I'll PM you about the CAS keywords and how to find them the CAS challenges.)
