Hello everyone, I have been inspired to make another Altered Frame, this time using birds. You can find the step by step instructions on my Blog: http://lovelylindascraftcentral.blogspot.com/
I have recently discovered how easy it is and once you see it for yourself, I am sure you are going to want to try it....Before you rush off to buy one, have a look around your home for frames you can paint, my frame is recycled and one of two that I have done! I have seen so many in the shops and thought to myself 'I can do that'...and now I have and SO CAN YOU!
You will need:
* A painted frame - with a mostly flat surface - this is much better for stamping.
* The stamp sets of your choice - I have used three from Layers of Color **
I did find that acrylic stamps work best for this, as you can actually see where you are placing the image.
* Stazon Ink Pad
* Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Pad ( I have used Walnut stain)
** I have found that having a Flourish is perfect for these frames, it also acts as a great 'filler' although you want to use a number of different images, we still want to keep it from looking like the kids have had a go! Not that YOUR kids wouldn't do a great job!
Thanks for looking and for your lovely comments - you make my day! God bless you!

Holy Cats is this ever gorgeous or what? The look is so dreamy and elegant, and I love how you combined music scores with those wonderful bird images. I might never have seen anything you did except this photo just popped up on the SCS Gallery. Lucky me, iIwill have to find some time today to get to your blog and see what other wonders you produce.
