These cards were made using a Northern Woods Stamp (Vase w/ Flowers). I stamped the image and used Black embossing powder on it (as opposed to stamping it with a blank ink pad) Like I've said before I use it because I like the shiny effect. Looks more professional. I then colored each of them with Copic Markers.
I also used Adirondack Alcohol inks for the backgrounds. Because of that I had to use glossy cardstock. I used the Ink Applicator Tool by Ranger to do this. For the left photo I used Eggplant and the right photo I used Citrus.
I used the Cricut and the Fabulous finds cartridge to cut out all the backgrounds, the strips of paper & their matting.
For the photo corners I inked each one with the same ink as the background.
I also used a Fiskars border punch on the bottom where the sentiment is on. I also embossed that with white embossing powder.
Techniques: heat embossing the stamped image and coloring it in with copic markers and Inking the glossy cardstock for a great background
