Let's start with the stampscape stamp.....I gathered the supplies which is Tsukineko eucalyptus walnut ink spray bottle (found at michaels in a pack of 4), cosmetic wedge, rubbing alcohol, glossy cardstock, pine needles distress emb powder, embossing ink pad, and the stamp.
So...I heat embossed the image after stamping it. When that's heated up with the heat gun I took my cosmetic wedge and put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on it . Then I sprayed the Tsukineko ink onto that and blotted the glossy cardstock. Go right over the embossed image. First cover the entire piece then you can blot is a bit more to absorbe the extra ink. After a minute, you can repeat if wanted. To get that marble effect, on the last layer of inking just cover only a few places. I did 3-4 layers. I put that to the side for now.
Now, I used my cricut to cut out the background, the 3 strips of paper and their matting. I ran those 3 strips through the forest branches embossing folder and them attached the matting.
I stamped the "Congratuations" on green cardstock and cut that out and matted it.
Back to the inked image. Before matting it I ran Walnut Ink distress ink pad along the sides of the glossy cardstock. It makes the edges look nice and crisp. I did the same for the matting except I used Pine Needles distress ink.
(The rubbing alcohol idea came from splitcoaststamper video. They use clear embossing powder in their video and they used re-inker distress inks. I used distress emb powder and white embossing powder that way I don't have to use the heat gun like they show.)
Thanks for the video!!
