Finally no snow this trip down to the cabin, and the snow that was here is steadily melting. I have spent most of my time trying to place the stamping stuff I brought down this trip, and making a list of what stamps and supplies I used for the cards I have made so I can post them when I get back to the internet world. ItÂ’s a whole lot easier doing it this way, than trying to remember what is what back there.
I guess IÂ’m on a Crafty Secrets kick, I finished the get well card for the friend that was hit by a tractor trailer this morning. And now I have finished another April birthday card using Bouquets of Joy. I was trying something new, I used Inkssentials Crackle accents on the bug in a jar in the set Feeling Yucky, so I thought IÂ’d try it on something bigger. I stamped the girl with bouquet of flowers, cut it out with circle nesties, colored with prisma colored pencils and goo gone, sponged the edges with antique linen distress ink, then spread the crackle accents over the entire colored area, had to wait a while for it to dry. Stamped En Francais for a background, punched the ovals with SU punches and glued together. Happy Birthday is from a Hanna Stamps word set, I donÂ’t know the name of.
