For Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge we were to bring a touch of color to our card. Keep a lot of white but give a touch of brightness. I have to admit that I really wanted to make a snowflake card, but I knew I would get buzzzzzzed....so I was a good girl (today)!!!! I added that awesome (if I must say so myself) bloom created with the scallop circle punch. I've been seeing those throughout the galleries and blogland. Had to try a version of it.
For the Color Challenge this meets the requirements of either Event 1 or Event 2......if you count the green of the leaves then it goes for Event 2, otherwise it is mostly red and white which goes with Event 1.
Thanks for looking.
Edited to add.....this also qualifies for the DDC as I have 1 flower, 2 leaves, and 3 brads.

Joanne, another beauty, I was taken away with your gorgeous bloom and then I nearly spewed to read the sentiment! OMG- where did you get that? What a riot! We have a wall hanging shaped like an oar, and it reads 'FRIENDS WELCOME....relatives by appointment' One of those sad but true moments (My in-laws really love that sign! Ooops! Still funny tho, huh?) Your card is beautiful Joanne, and I am gonna laugh about that senti for a long time! Hugs....
