Our 4 yr. old grandson visited over the weekend. My daughter's boyfriend came over and brought his guitar. Ryan was excited over the guitar and wanted to play. Uncle Mike obliged Ryan and my daughter took a bunch of pictures. I used some of the pictures to make a little book for Ryan to take home with him.
I cut white cs to 4 1/4" by 7". Then I scored the pages 1" in from one edge. I cut a 2 pieces of kraft cs to fit the front and back covers and attached it. I stamped all over the front cover, then cut Ryan's name with my new Cricut Exp. machine. "Guitar Playin' Book" was computer generated using the "Ketchup" font.
For the inside pages, I cut dp to just under 4"x6" and attached the pieces on the larger side of the score line. I stamped on some of the dp, mounted a cropped photo on black cs, then attached to the book pages.
When all the pages were finished, I used my Cropadile to punch 3 holes, centered, down the narrow side of the score line.
I added reinforcement rings around the punched holes on each page, then adhered the "binding" edge of each page to the next page.
I added fabric covered brads thru the punched holes. I flipped the book over and adhered a 1" strip of cs over the bound edge to cover the pointy parts of the brads.
The score line allows the rather stiff, thick pages to turn nicely.

Very nice color choices, and I loved looking at the photos. He looked SO excited. Looks like you have a future guitar player on your hands for sure! Kelly
