One more card inspired by Judi's gallery. I kept Judy's layout and changed the colors and image.
I am nearly a week late for Mothemark's Teaparty, but I could not let this one pass! To catch you up, here is the story
The origin of pancake racing
Pancake races are thought to have begun in 1445. A woman, named Marti McGraw had lost track of the time on Shrove Tuesday, and was busy cooking pancakes in her kitchen. Suddenly she heard the church bell ringing to call the faithful to church for confession. Marti raced out of her house and ran all the way to church, still holding her frying pan and wearing her apron.
(This is all true, 'cept for the part about her name....)
This is Marti's sister, Emily, who remained behind cooking pancakes (and other yummy desserts) for her beloved Tahiti Petey, and boy- did he love pancakes! They were almost as sweet as M's lips! Yeah! The two have been inseparable for the last twenty years. As long as they have some Golden Griddle Syrup, they git along just fine! Happy Anniversary!
Thanks for looking!

OMG, this is too cute for M and that Chimay Blue/Tahiti Petey/man/cat...whatevah. I am guessing between the syrupy pancakes and M's lips, he would choose the latter. M sure wears the bestest pearls on those ears. Wow, girl, you did big with all these challenges.
