It's that time again - the Midnight Madness Challenge. I have to say I struggled a bit with this one. It's not my usual color combo either, but the patterned paper was so pretty and glittery, that I went with it.
There are weekly sketch challenges and prizes if you'd like to join in. It's loads of fun and a fantastic design team.
I used the SU image of a bird in a cage, but not sure it was too effective on this card. After coloring the image, I sponged the mat with taken with teal and then embossed with swirls ef. Used dazzling diamonds around the entire frame of the image for a little sparkle and added some bling and paper piercing.
The rest, I just did according to the layers of the sketch. I had planned on using 2 different patterned papers for the panels, but it just wasn't working, so I repeated the panels with the patterned paper used on the main panel.
I have tons of buttons, but never seem to find the right ones to use on cards, so I struggled with this part a ton. I opted to use less buttons than shown on the sketch.
I added prima flowers that I dyed to match the taken with teal paper and added bling to them. Added my sentiment wit the word window and modern label punches.
The first panel, the main mat for the image panel and the image panel itself were popped up on dimensionals.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look and have a fabulous weekend!!

Ooh Pam, this is so pretty. I love the little bird cage but have a hard time deciding what to do with it. I see you didn't. Your dyed flowers are perfect.
I was really late getting this one done this week. We both must have too much to do as we are both a bit late...well, not really late, just later than usual. Your buttons are really pretty and this was certainly the perfect time to pull them out. Love your paper, too. Wonderful creation...as usual. Hope you're having a good weekend. Hugs!

Honestly, girl! Could you ever just make a nice CAS card and stop putting the rest *me * to shame? Hunh? Do you ever think of others in on SplitCoast when you upload your heavy laden beauties? I'm afraid I have Card OCD and no talent! I have a plain kind of CAS card - but I'm not quite sure about it yet - just oh - two - maybe three layers.
Enough lecturing for now...............Gorgeous card!As for buttons - may I suggest papertrey? On my CAS card which is not uploaded - I have a button. Papertrey has buttons in so many colours! I bought every colour pretty much that they had about a year ago.
OH yeah..... The GREAT Dectective that I am - I soused out those buttons way before the likes of you, Miss low IQ,even thought about procuring buttons!! Bwhahahahahaaa
