OMG - I've had such a hard time getting to Martie McGraw's house. When I finally rolled into the Big Easy, the Fat Tuesday celebrations were going full tilt boogie. I followed the balloons and when I spied Curt flying high in the sky, I knew I'd made it to Martie's house. I drug my tired self up the walk, but was stopped at the door by a mysterious masked man! He wouldn't let me in until I guessed who he was. Gave up trying, took a little snooze, and when I woke up, I got a glimpse of his bald head. Mystery solved! He's none other than Martie's uncle, Dr. Phil McGraw!
The mask:
Cut mask shape and flower layers from glitter mat stack.
Decorated with rhinestones, fiber and sequined ribbon.
Hardest part was trying to photograph it!
I know one little girl who's gonna love this!

One little girl is most assuredly going to adore this, it's truly wonderful. Love those bright colours and perfectly matching fibres.
I keep waiting for Feathers McGraw to turn up too - maybe when I am off work on Friday I can find him and encourage him to come along to the gathering of the clan.

Too funny abour DrPhil. I love your mask and all the bling and gorgeous ribbons and fibers you addd to it. Surely, he has let you go and enjoy the festivities now. By the way, did he tell you where he was heading to, I think he could help me with a certain problem I have. Some of my friends say I have multiple personalities...Ya think they're right! LOL Beautifuly done with your gorgeous mask.

Gosh, I love this mask. I remember my first visit to New Orleans spending tons of time in the shops just looking at all the masks, and this really is as interesting as anything they sell.
