This is a card based on the inspiration I got from my granddaughter's shirt. I loved the color combination and the big green buttons. Of course, like any stamper, I translate whatever I see into a card. I used a Sizzlet to cut out the buttons, made 'stitching' with a white pigment pen and then glazed the whole button with Paper Glaze. The ladybug is made from circle punches and then used wire for the antennea on the bug and butterfly. I was glad for the opportunity to use some of my recycled ribbon that I was blessed to receive from one of the stores at the local mall that had yards and yards and yards of ribbon in their window display. I have this card listed for yesterdays clean and simple challenge to make a springtime card. To the 'untrained' eye, this card may not seem very clean and simple, but if you know me, you know that I tend to make cards pretty complicated at times. The fact that I refrained from texturing, coloring and general putzing makes this a 'clean and simple' card for me. (:>)
