This is what I made for Christmas gift for a few friends and I also made one for my stamp club gift exchange. These were pretty easy to make. I got my inspiration from Schweeda here... keh glass block by Schweeda at Splitcoaststampers
I sprayed the glass block with glass frosting found in the spray paint section of a hardware store. DH drilled holes in the back of the block with his drill and a glass bit (this took a lot of time and the drill wore down pretty quickly after a few blocks....easier to just buy the blocks with the hole already there, though those are quite a bit more expensive.) I stuffed a strand of white Christmas lights inside. Once the spray was dry I applied the Decor Elements "jingle all the way" Then I embossed snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in silver. The embossing looks really cool in person...it takes longer to do than on paper since the glass has to heat up as well as the EP. I tied a length of Real Red 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon around the block and tied a bow. I added a cluster of silver bells to finish it off. I can't wait to display this next year as I didn't get the one for me finished until after Christmas.
