Today's Featured Stamper is Laurie, the talented Hamilton Gal. After going through her entire beautiful gallery, I settled one of her most recent cards, which can be seen here:
I loved the rakish angle she used and the gorgeous, clean and crisp design. I've used the same angle for scoring my outline, and changed the sentiment to read "A Happy Hello". Instead of the lovely stamp she used, which I didn't have, I used a pretty MS sticker branch of dogwood flowers, and added a few falling down. I've popped up some of the petals for dimension and interest.
Finally, I colored my light blue stitched ribbon with a choc. chip marker to turn it brown. And I colored my silver brads as well, with a brown marker.
Congratulations, Laurie, on your well-deserved nomination as Featured Stamper today! Enjoy your day in the sun!
