For today's limited supply we were to use an interesting fact about a president for our card inspiration.
Did you know that only 10 inaugurations had rain? William McKinley's second was one of them! I was able to find a photo of the parade at William McKinley's second inauguration of the umbrella's. You can view the photo here: http://www.shorpy.com/node/6557
I used my favorite stamp from Unity's January in store kit for this and BG's Origin's DP. I paper pieced the image and added some kaiser pearls to the umbrella.

What a cute card! ...and tribute to McKinley who was from Niles, Ohio. The scarlet carnation was made the state flower because he was wearing one when he was assassinated.
