All those flowers in the south of France are attracting the butterflies! I could not resist a follow up card.

NOTE: THe Cuttlebug challenge involved using Glimmer Mist or similar, and masking. Great chance to try a product that has been taking space in my drawer for a long time. I learned I need much practice. My spray was much more than a mist, and got kind of wet and runny on the cs (all three section of the card as well as the butterfly). After drying it does shimmer but less than I had hoped. I hope the white masked section can be seen below the die cut butterfly.

Yep, I definitely see the masked butterfly - I was going to comment on it even before I read your write-up. I've heard other people say the same with glimmer mist - that it can be more messy than it's worth. And yet other people love it. I've listened to the ones who say how messy it is and decided I didn't need it .

Is glimmer mist a technique? It must be cuz I can't to techniques and I can't do glitter mist.....makes sense huh?
It won't be long before your butterfly tells all her friends how wonderful life is at Belassiz' Villa.....it will be paradise with a big ole bull in the middle of it! So, whats wrong with that?

Dorothy I love the card. I have not used that glimmer stuff so I don't know now if I will. I like to have fun with things. I already make a mess when I'm making cards.
So who needs to make a bigger mess if you don't have to?
How does Feb25th work for you to come back down and stamp with us? Same time 9:30am. Till ????????????
We are doing ButterFly and Bird cards this time. This one would be a good one for you to do. Let me know.

So soft and pretty. Love how you did the butterflies! With all the flowers up by the villa, I'm sure the butterflies will just love it there. Awesome card. TFS :0)

This is so pretty! I like the embossing and masked butterfly. I have never tried the masking, but I like the effect. Great use of the sketch - thanks for playing along with Sketch Girl!

I like the masked butterfly! You have inspired me to try the technique. Guess many of the tea party people have seen the multitude of butterflies as several of us included them in our story.
