I started by stamping the basket-of-flowers stamp onto white cardstock using an embossing ink pad. I then took black embossing powder on it. Heated it up and it's ready to get colored in. I use my copic markers to do that. I then put that aside.
I cut out the background and the 5 strips AND their matting using my Cricut and the Fabulous Finds cartridge. To make the background I cut a piece grafix which is a thick plastic that's used for crafts. I inked it with Citrus Alcohol Ink. I covered the entire piece.
Now it's time to emboss the 5 strips of paper. I ran it through the cuttlebug embossing folder, bubbles. I took Dusty Concord distress ink along with my Ink Applicator tool and ran it across the embossed "bubbles". I attached each of them to their matting.
For the photo corners I took the Citrus alcohol ink and put a drop or 2 on each of them. I added them along with a ribbon on the left side of the card.
To finish, i added a fragment saying "Happy Birthday" (which I already had inked it with Wild Plum Alcohol Ink.) I heat embossed the sentiment with White embossing powder.
