Thanks, Holly, for introducing us to a cool new technique. This is for TLC259, Frosted Window. It calls for stamping your image on white CS, coloring with dark colors, stamping again on Vellum, and coloring in with lighter colors, then mounting one on top of the other, giving a frosted look.
My finances do not permit owning any fancy cutting tools, or those spectacular Copics (Some day!) so I have to make do with what I have. I traced the circle from a water glass, cut it out by hand. I then went around the inside with a circle punch, creating my own scallopped edge. Images were colored with SU markers. The top butterfly was cut out 4 times, coated with Diamond Glaze, glittered, and popped up. The card is accented with rhinestones and narrow gold organdy ribbon. And thanks to JovialJudi for the nudge to stamp on the inside!
It's not the best photo, but, after being up most of the night with a family crisis, I'm too tired to work any more on it. Maybe later. Right now, I need SLEEP! Be back later to leave comments.
Thanks for looking! I hope you like it.

I tell you, if I'd been able to cut scallops that good, I wouldn't be in a hurry to get a Wizard. (Not that I was, mind you, I was lucky enough to be given one, otherwise I'd still be holding out). Lovely soft, old-fashioned feel to this. Sorry to hear you had a family crisis - hope it's all over now.

Well, they say neccessity is the mother of invention. Your scalloped window is fabulous! This is so pretty - great job on the challenge. Love the way you've angled the ribbon. Hope that your family crisis has resolved itself and that you've managed to get some sleep....
