I am a VERY new scrapbooker, but I want to demo the Tag punch at my next workshop, and I want to do a progressive page. This is what I came up with. It is simple...and I can think of other things I can add to it (if I had them) but I am happy with it for now. I will also make this page into a 12x12 and use the tag punch with ribbon for more journaling info, and add another picture. This is my son Logan.

Really nice layout! Love the colors and the way you used them to emphasized the letters on boy. You certainly don't look like you are new at scrapbooking!

I absolutely fell in love with this layout when I saw it for the first time. It went right into my favorites and tonight I cased it (turned it into a 2-page 12 x 12) at a crop at a local scrapbook store. Everyone was so impressed! Thank you for sharing your page! If this is your first page, I'd be scared to see you after scrapbooking for a year! You go, girl!

Thank you everyone for the kind comments! It makes me feel more confident in my scrapbooking abilities!
Cajunstamper, I am sooo glad (and proud) that you liked my page enough to CASE it! I would love to see your layout. I actually ended up turning this page into a 12x12 also, but my scanner can't scan that big of a page, and my camera battery needs charged. Maybe when I charge it, I will take a picture of the "new version" and then you all can see it that way. I actually like the 12x12 better. Now I need to get a 12x12 album to put it in....
